LeBron James Makes More NBA History With Crazy Triple-Double Record
By Michael Luciano
The ageless wonder and freak of nature that is LeBron James is somehow finding a way to improve in his 17th NBA season.
The Los Angeles Lakers forward, who is leading the NBA in assists by a wide margin at 11.1 per game, recorded a triple-double in a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, scoring 25 points while grabbing 11 boards and dishing out 10 assists. In doing so, James became the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double against all 30 NBA teams.
Keep in mind, this man is 35 and is allegedly supposed to be declining.
James almost recorded a triple-double against the Thunder franchise back when they were the Seattle SuperSonics, and it took him 27 more tries to finally notch his first triple-double against them.
James could soon be joined in this exclusive club by Russell Westbrook, who also needs a triple-double against the Thunder to check off all 30 teams.
LeBron is a month shy of 35, and he's doing things that even 25-year-old Bron could only dream of. More importantly, he has the Lakers at the top of the West at 12-2.
