LeBron James Posts on Instagram in Celebration of the Lakers' Trade for Anthony Davis

We all knew he was excited, but still, we anxiously awaited to hear what The King had to say. And now, he's spoken.

LeBron James took to Instagram following the Lakers' trade for Anthony Davis, and it's safe to say that he's fired up over the future in LA.

After the trade talks between the Lakers and Pelicans broke down during the regular season, it was unclear whether New Orleans would be willing to ship Davis to LA. Well, it seems they were, and James is extremely grateful that they did.

And according to Lebron, this is just the beginning, as the Lakers have a fairly empty roster and will also be in pursuit of another top free agent, having already been linked with Kemba Walker.

After a rough initial season in La La Land, it looks like James and Co. are trying to right the ship, and that means landing superstar talent. With the AD deal set to be completed, the Lakers will now turn their attention towards other top priorities.

LeBron will likely be heavily involved in the offseason recruiting process, but for now he's going to enjoy the first step of the Lakers' plan coming to fruition.
