LeBron James to Miss Lakers' Clash vs Nuggets Due to Injury
LeBron James has been remarkably durable throughout his entire career. He prides himself on playing every game and it is notable when he is not in the starting lineup. Load management? Don't even bring that up to the King.
Well, despite recently speaking out against taking rest days, James finds himself out of the lineup on Sunday, though it's for load management purposes.
James is reportedly dealing with several injuries, most notably a thoracic muscle strain. Thus, the Lakers will take no chances, opting to keep their superstar on the sideline for the clash with the Nuggets.
James has appeared in all 29 games this season and is averaging 25.8 points and 34.8 minutes per game. Even in his 17th season, James continues to put up jaw-dropping numbers.
The Lakers are aiming to ensure James is fully healthy ahead of their Christmas Day matchup with Kawhi Leonard and the rival Los Angeles Clippers, so he'll be given some extra time to get back to 100%.
