Let's also not forget about his two Super Bowls and perfect 1972 season with the Miami Dolphins. He also racked up 98 wins with the Baltimore Colts. The Hall of Famer, who was inducted back in 1997, is one of the best to ever do it.
The Dolphins released a statement this morning to acknowledge his passing. One of Shula's children notified the Miami Herald of the news.

Shula's impact on the game is arguably second to none. He posted only TWO losing seasons in his 33 years as a head coach, and went to the Super Bowl with two different teams.
Don Shula was a titan. Two-time Super Bowl champion. Four-time Coach of the Year. Most regular season wins (328) and total wins (347) in NFL history. The Perfect Season. And an absolute legend in South Florida. RIP.

Our thoughts are with his family during these trying times. RIP to an NFL legend, the only man to post a full season of perfection.
