Le'Veon Bell Fires Off Defiant Tweet Following Jets' 0-3 Start
By Michael Luciano
The New York Jets might TECHNICALLY be a professional football team, but one could be easily fooled into thinking they were anything but given their first three games of the 2019 season, all of which have been losses with a different quarterback.
Jets running back Le'Veon Bell, who looks like the only player on offense that is trying hard and is somewhat productive, took this opportunity to call out the naysayers ripping the Jets, and additionally to offer words of encouragement for fans who want this all pointed in the right direction.
Those are some pretty strong words coming from a player currently under the watch of Adam Gase.
Gase's high school offense that is 50% bubble screens and 50% draws to Le'Veon could barely get to midfield against the mighty New England Patriots Sunday. Unless Luke Falk suddenly becomes Joe Namath or Sam Darnold returns from mono quicker than expected, it's going to get worse before it gets better.
You have to feel for Le'Veon. On a team with maybe three good offensive players, he's still giving it his all, but is powerless to stop the Jets from Jets-ing.
