Lionel Messi expected to play in Copa America quarterfinals despite minor injury

There's no need to panic for all of you Argentina fans out there. In Argentina's last Copa America game, Lionel Messi did not play due to a small injury. There had been some worry that maybe he won't be fit for the quarterfinals, but that won't be the case.

Per a report, Messi will be just fine for the Thursday night clash against Ecuador in Houston. This is obviously massive news for the South American giants.

Argentina is a massive favorite to take down Ecuador and move on to the next round. Should that happen, Messi and Co. would then take on the winner of Canada and Venezuela in the semifinals. We'll have to wait and see if that happens or not.
