Lions Unable to Sell Out Ticket Allotment for Week 6 at Green Bay

It's looking like the Lions faithful aren't quite as passionate about this season as we originally thought.
The team has gotten off to a positive 2-1-1 start to the season, and have a huge matchup against the NFC North rival Packers at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football. Detroit fans are feeling pretty confident as well according to this inconvenient graph.
Packers and Lions fans are feeling pretty good these days.

Vikings and Bears fans... not so much.#FanPulse pic.twitter.com/VmNg8QctsM
You'd expect a major demand from fans for tickets to this game considering its significance and relatively short travel distance. Well, it looks like they've been putting on a front, as a portion of their ticket allotment had to be returned due to lack of interest.
A limited number of tickets are available for #DETvsGB on Monday night due to the Lions returning a portion of their allotment. ?️: https://t.co/4cd2x0OEPe pic.twitter.com/SnaLBwQVDG

These seats will be given to Packers fans. You had your chance, Detroit!
This is a really bad look for the fanbase. It would be one thing if they didn't sell out their allotted tickets against a random team on the other side of the country, but Monday's game is basically in the state of Michigan's backyard. They have to represent their team in a hostile environment against the bad guys. It's an understatement to call this a blown opportunity.
