List of Additional Players Joining Team USA for FIBA World Cup is Completely Stacked
By Daniel Lubofsky
While not quite the grand Olympic stage, NBA players still take great honor in participating in the FIBA World Cup, this year set to take place in September.
Some of the game's greatest players have helped the US bring home the gold in past years, with this upcoming team not likely to be an exception.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there are quite a few recognizable names set to join Team USA's training camp in August. The headliners of this group expected to commit are All-Stars James Harden, Anthony Davis and Kemba Walker.
Fellow All-Stars Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard are expected to tag along as well, plus Lillard backcourt mate CJ McCollum and young wings Kyle Kuzma and Jayson Tatum.
Fans of basketball normally only get to see such a collection of talent once a year at the annual All-Star Game. Having brought home the previous two FIBA championships, expect Team USA to compete for the gold once again. And look really good doing it.
