Justin Verlander was up to his normal antics during Sunday's start against the Toronto Blue Jays: thoroughly dominating and spinning a gem on the mound for the Houston Astros.

Only this time, the former Cy Young messed around and tossed a no-hitter -- a feat that saw him join a legendary and unique group. He became one of a small handful of hurlers that have thrown at least three no-no's in their career.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the other storied pitchers on this list.

Nolan Ryan (7)

The Ryan Express miraculously spun SEVEN no-hitters over his Hall of Fame career, far and away the most ever by a pitcher in MLB history. He is one of the best pitchers the game of baseball has ever seen, appearing in eight All-Star games, winning 324 games, and striking out a mind-boggling 5,714 batters across 5,386 innings pitched.

Sandy Koufax (4)

If Verlander tossed another no-hitter he would tie Sandy Koufax for the second most of all-time. To even be mentioned in the same breath as the Left Hand of God, arguably the most decorated arm ever, says something about JV's historic career.

Cy Young (3)

Cy Young won 511 games in his legendary career, while posting a 2.63 ERA, pitching a staggering 7,356 innings, and fanning over 2,800 batters.

Bob Feller (3)

Let's put it this way: Feller, a Hall of Famer, was a Triple Crown winner, eight-time All-Star and ERA title holder.

Larry Corcoran (3)

There's no doubting that Corcoran is the lesser-known of the aforementioned names, and he's actually the only one who isn't enshrined in Cooperstown. With that being said, he was simply a world-beater on the mound, winning 170 games in a five-year span from 1880-1884.
