Listen to Leaked Audio From ESPN Cleveland Hot Mic That Appears to Include NSFW Baker Mayfield Insult
By Michael Luciano

Quick lesson for everyone out there in the radio business. Before you start cursing out your team's franchise quarterback, make sure you turn the microphone off. An ESPN Cleveland host bemoaned the fact that Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is either 6-0 or 6-1, depending on who you ask, while most other franchise quarterbacks in the league are much taller than that. The host in question was caught trashing Mayfield's size when he thought he was off the air, comparing him to other QBs the Browns have missed out on over the years.

Yes, a hot mic really just picked up the personality calling Baker a "f---ing midget."
There are unconfirmed reports that it was Cleveland's own Tony Grossi, often dubbed a Baker "hater," who dropped this insult. If so, a 5-7 Grossi ripping a 6-1 Mayfield for being short is the dictionary definition of the pot calling the kettle black.
QB1.

Sure, Mayfield regressed last season to the tune of 20 interceptions while leading the Browns to just six wins, and he hasn't always been the warmest when it comes to the media, but taking meaningless swipes at him out of the blue while he's working to improve upon his poor 2019 season is exactly the kind of stuff that gets him so amped up.
