Saturday's match at Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano kicks off at 3 PM ET, and can be seen on TNT, fuboTV, Univision and B/R Live. Live streams can also be found on Reddit's soccer streams subreddit.

Liverpool was hopeful that their resurgence late last season would carry over after making the UCL finals a year ago, with their goal being to win the English top flight for the first time since 1989-90. And in spite of winning each of their last nine league fixtures and finishing with 97 points, they fell short of the EPL title by a single point to Manchester City.

It is thanks to a 4-0 win over Barcelona in the second leg of the UCL semifinals that the Reds are this far in European competition and have a chance to lift major silverware.

Mohamad Salah and Roberto Firmino both missed the legendary fixture at Anfield, but will be back for Saturday's final.

Elsewhere in the injury front, Spurs' Harry Kane looks set to return to the team for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the first leg of the competition's quarterfinal against Manchester City.

Just of Jürgen Klopp's side defied any prediction in their second-leg comeback win for the ages, Tottenham has also gotten this far thanks to some legendary moments. Man City's potential quarterfinal winning goal on April 17 was disallowed due to an offsides call, and Lucas Moura's second half hat trick against Ajax in leg two sent Spurs into the final, with the winning goal coming in the 96th minute.

Tottenham has never won the Champions League in their history. As recently as 1984, they did win the UEFA Cup, the predecessor to the modern-day Europa League. They also won the FA League Cup in 2008.

Liverpool is searching for their first major trophy since 2012 when winning the League Cup. The Reds won an FA Cup in 2006 and the UCL in 2005.

The Merseyside club have a pair of 2-1 victories in domestic action this year over the North London side, with Toby Alderweireld's own goal giving Liverpool three points at home on March 31.

Both teams are looking for that signature moment, to prove to fans across their country and continent that they truly belong on the world's top tier. While both have certainly showed that they can hang with any UEFA blue blood, they'll both be desperate to earn the trophy to prove it.
