Lonzo Ball Claims He's Making All of His Career Decisions Now Instead of LaVar

Someone is no longer a helicopter parent, or at least for one of his kids.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball says his outspoken father LaVar is no longer in charge of the decision making in his career, and he's now pulling the strings for himself.

This comes on the heels of a revealing moment in the Ball family's reality show, Ball in the Family, in which LaVar openly ripped his son during a business meeting.

The summer has been a strange one for the eldest Ball son, whom the Los Angeles Lakers traded, along with Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and a boatload of draft picks, to the Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis.
LaVar Ball has been an endless pit of noise ever since Lonzo showed off his NBA potential at UCLA. LaVar has constantly spoken for his children and controlled their lives as he tried to get all three of his boys into the NBA.
After years of putting up with his dad's outlandish antics, it seems Lonzo has finally had enough.
