Los Angeles Angels release Albert Pujols
By Braulio Perez

Where in the heck did this come from? That's what many Los Angeles Angels fans are asking themselves right now after the club announced that future Hall-of-Fame slugger Albert Pujols had been released.
Pujols, who arrived to the club in 2012, was in the last year of his massive 10-year contract. Now, instead of closing out the contract, he'll look to sign with a new team to finish out the 2021 campaign.
