Top TV Markets for Sunday Night Football Proves Chargers Never Should Have Left San Diego

It's tough being the "other" team in a major city. We've already seen the consequences of joining the less popular squad, as Kawhi Leonard was booed in public just for signing with the Clippers instead of the Lakers.
But at least the Clippers will attract a ton of national interest this season, right? The same can't be said about the Los Angeles Chargers, whom just about nobody in the city cares about based off this chart of the top TV markets for Sunday night's loss against the Steelers.

Trust me, you're reading it correctly-- Los Angeles, the second-largest city in America, isn't even among the top 10 markets that watched the game. La La Land somehow got beat out by such places as Columbus and Norfolk in the ratings.
While definitely sad, this shouldn't come as a shock if you observed the crowd at the game. Despite being from the other side of the country, Pittsburgh fans completely dominated the stands.

The Chargers' ownership has to question their decision to move to the City of Angels, especially considering how loyal their San Diego fanbase was and still is.
