Louisville's Muhammad Ali Uniforms Are Absolutely Fire

With Week 1 of the 2019 college football season looming ever-closer, the Associated Press released it's annual Top 25 poll on Monday.

In addition to the highly-anticipated rankings, however, Adidas also unveiled a treat of their own: a profusion of alternate jerseys that will be donned by various programs throughout the campaign.

And it goes without saying that the most captivating of these new threads is the one's that will be rocked by the Louisville Cardinals, who will pay tribute to late great boxing champ Muhammad Ali.

You don't need to convince us. We are absolutely on board with this.

The uniform, of course, is designed to resemble Ali's renowned pre-match robe and shorts. Per the Adidas press release, the pants feature a black stripe down the side, similar to Ali's trunks. In perhaps the coolest touch, the Cards will reportedly rock their standard red gloves, aiming to provide the illusion of boxing gloves on the field.

Louisville will reportedly debut the unis on Oct.5 when they square off against Boston College.

Ali tragically passed away in 2016 following a long, arduous battle with Parkinson's disease.

This is truly a beautiful gesture by Louisville to honor the undisputed GOAT of heavyweight boxing.
