Lovie Smith says Davis Mills is his QB1

Houston Texans fans are hoping for better days to be on the way. The team was a laughingstock in 2021, which was tough to see. Now, head coach Lovie Smith is ready to get this group back on track.

However, he's not winning over many fans with his latest admission: Davis Mills is his starting quarterback moving forward.

Mills struggled last year, though he did have some contests where he impressed. Despite that, Mills isn't a franchise QB and Houston needs to be on the hunt for someone to take over as the star player from when Deshaun Watson was still in town. Mills isn't that guy.
