LSU Jumps to No. 2 Behind Alabama in Latest AP Top 25 Poll

Following a dominant offensive showing against one of the most ferocious pass rushes in the country, Joe Burrow and LSU are moving up in the latest AP Top 25.
Ed Orgeron's Tigers leapfrogged Dabo Swinney and Clemson despite the fact that Trevor Lawrence and company ate Florida State alive.

Despite unblemished records, Oklahoma and Wisconsin are on the outside looking in with regards to the playoff. Penn State moved up to No. 7 after beating Iowa, while Florida and Georgia dropped to No. 9 and No. 10 following losses to LSU and South Carolina.
Boise State is the highest-ranked Group of Five team at No. 14 overall. Baylor, SMU, and Minnesota all moved into the Top 20 after an undefeated start. Sun Belt favorites Appalachian State are ranked No. 24, while Kelly Bryant's Missouri and Jacob Eason's Washington are back in the Top 25.
Wake Forest, Virginia, and Memphis fell out of the Top 25 after losses last week.
