LSU LB Admits Texas QB Sam Ehlinger Proved Him Wrong

The highly-anticipated matchup between No. 6 LSU and No. 9 Texas was everything we thought it'd be and then some, unless you're LSU linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson.
Chaisson made a comment prior to the game about Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger being a much bigger threat as a runner than as a passer. He was proven wrong in LSU's shootout win over Texas, prompting a revision to his statement.

The LSU linebacker was quick to address that comment after Ehlinger threw for 401 yards in LSU's 45-38 victory over Texas. He did not hesitate to give Ehlinger credit after blowing up the Tigers' defense Saturday night.
"I made a comment that the quarterback couldn't beat us throwing," Chaisson said. "He proved me wrong today."

Chaisson showed great maturity when he gave Ehlinger credit for a great performance. He could've easily continued with his assault on Ehlinger's game, but chose to give him credit after lighting up one of the premier defenses to the tune of 38 points.
LSU's defense wasn't as strong as anticipated, but one of their leaders showed the humility to give credit where it's due, and improve on the performance after.
