LSU QB Joe Burrow Claps Back at Professor Complaining About Team's Fancy New Locker Room
By Charles Nason
The big news out of LSU of late has been the Tigers' brand new $29 million locker room. Their new facility has gotten a lot of backlash since players first started posting videos of it on social media. Obviously, most are disgruntled by the lofty price tag for the establishment.
After an LSU professor complained about the Tigers' expensive upgrade, one player had a perfect response of his own. Quarterback Joe Burrow clapped back at the professor defending his team's new digs.
Through all the criticism that the locker room has gotten over the past day, Burrow's response is one of the first from the players themselves. Hopefully he isn't due to appear in one of the professor's lectures next year.
Let's be honest, the locker room is incredibly pricey for college football. The new space looks like it belongs to the richest of NFL franchises. And spending just short of $30 million on it is certainly an interesting decision.
Regardless, there's no going back on the Tigers' new locker room. Although it was clearly a lot of money to spend for one sport, football obviously brings in the most revenue for the school.
The debate about paying college athletes will rage on, but Burrow and the rest of the Tigers will certainly enjoy cooling off in the brand new facility.
