LSU Remains No. 1 Team in the Country in Latest AP Top 25 Poll

There was plenty of moving and shaking across the college football landscape this week, but the familiar faces are still ruling the roost.
Joe Burrow and LSU were ranked No. 1 overall in the latest AP Poll, with Justin Fields and Ohio State coming in behind them at No. 2. Clemson checked in at No. 3, while Georgia remains No. 4.
Alabama is at No. 5, having no issues crushing Western Carolina with Mac Jones behind center in place of the injured Tua Tagovailoa.

Penn State dropped down to No. 12 after Ohio State took them down in Columbus, while Oregon dropped to No. 14 after losing to Arizona State.
Some new entrants in the Top 25 this week include Justin Fuente's Virginia Tech at No. 23, Navy at No. 24, and Kedon Slovis' USC at No. 25.
The highest ranked Group of Five team is Mike Norvell's Memphis at No. 17, followed by Cincinnati and Boise State at 18 and 20, respectively.
