VIDEO: LSU's Stephen Sullivan Getting Draft Call From Seahawks GM John Schneider Has All the Feels
By Andrew Gullotta
If you need something to light up your day, come watch this! In a video that allowed viewers to listen in on the phone call between Seahawks general manager John Schneider and new Seattle tight end Stephen Sullivan, you will hear pure excitement by the former LSU Tiger after he got drafted -- the kind that will soften even the most cynical among us during these days of quarantine.
The LSU product first thought that the general manager was kidding with him, as the tight end was not expecting the call. Then, once he new it was for real, he let out all of his emotions go.
This really hit us in the feels.
Sullivan was a receiver-turned-tight end in Baton Rouge, amassing over 700 yards and three touchdowns with the Bayou Bengals. He was praised by his coaches as a high-character leader both on and off the field.
With an attitude like this, even fans outside of Seattle have got to be rooting for Sullivan to progress as an pass-catcher in the years to come. Hopefully, he can look back on this moment as only the first of many memorable moments to come in his NFL career.
