Luis Castillo was a beast for the Mariners in Game 1

Life sure is good for Seattle Mariners fans right now. It goes without saying, but there are high expectations for ace hurler Luis Castillo this season. He's one of the best in the bigs, and he sure looked that way on Thursday night at T-Mobile Park.

In the 3-0 win over the Guardians, Castillo was dominant. Despite getting the no-decision in this one, that doesn't take away from his brilliant showing.

Castillo only gave up one hit in his six innings of work. The man flirted with a no-hitter and more epic performances will be on the way. Castillo, aka La Piedra, is in line for a huge 2023 season.
