By Kevin Aquino

Yankees pitcher Luis Severino has returned after a series of injuries, and it doesn't look like rust will play much of a factor. Sevy's first appearance of the 2019 MLB season comes against the Angels, and he had a couple of gorgeous strikeouts to welcome himself back.

The way both LA players walked back to the dugout, discouraged shows just how effective Severino can be for the Yanks going forward. The 25-year-old has missed this whole season with right rotator cuff inflammation and a Grade 2 lat strain.
But Severino's return couldn't have been timed any better, as the Yankees prepare for the postseason, on the hunt for another World Series title.
