Luis Severino Blasts Astros for Scandal and Hints They Should Have World Series Title Stripped

For New York Yankees stud hurler Luis Severino, the anger toward the Houston Astros hasn't subsided one bit. The hard-throwing righty remains furious at the 2017 World Series champs for their behavior in the now infamous sign-stealing scandal.
In an interview this weekend with Domincan sports journalist Hector Gomez, Severino doubled down and once again blasted the Astros for their actions. This time, though, he went ahead and took things to another level.

"The sanction for the Astros should be stronger," Severino said. "What they did had an affect on a lot of pitchers. For example, there are things like with Pete Rose where the sanction was for life, but now there's nothing that can be done. Imagine, they're (MLB) not going to take away their World Series title."
As you can see, the Yankees starter didn't hold back in the slightest. Straight up, he thinks the Astros got a slap on the wrist with the penalties sent their way. The fact that they still get to call themselves the 2017 champions despite being caught red-handed has infuriated millions out there, including Severino.

Unfortunately for Severino, he underwent Tommy John Surgery in late February and will be out for the 2020 campaign. However, once he gets back on the bump, you can expect him to have his next showdown with the Astros circled on his calendar. He'll be out for revenge.
