Well, that's one way to spoil Luis Severino's return to high-stakes October baseball.

The New York Yankees starter, who just worked his way back into the rotation after missing most of the year with injuries, was greeted by a sign in the locker room that misspelled his name as "Luis Serverino," per insider Bryan Hoch. How did no one catch this, especially before a playoff series?

Oof. All they had to do was sound it out phonetically and they would have been fine.

Luckily, they took the sign down not even two minutes after the original tweet alerting everyone. I have to say, that was probably record time for correcting a mistake like that.

Severino posted a 1.50 ERA in 12 innings this season, as he tired to make sure his fastball is as explosive as it usually is and that he has control of his slider. Hopefully "Serverino" can get back to what he was before his injury in the ALDS against the Minnesota Twins.
