Luka Doncic Just Tied Michael Jordan With Remarkable Streak
It's getting harder and harder to deny the greatness of Luka Doncic at this point.
After putting up some insane numbers the first few games into the season, many people attributed Doncic's play to a hot start against lesser competition.
But we're now over a quarter of the way into the season, and he's still playing like a superstar. The 20-year-old phenom just broke Michael Jordan's streak for most games in a row with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists, doing so for the 18th consecutive time on Saturday.
Doncic had a phenomenal rookie season. But like all neophytes, he was somewhat up and down in terms of his level of play. So far in his sophomore campaign, Luka looks to have figured things out and has become the definition of consistency.
Averaging over 30 points and a near-triple-double this season while leading the Mavericks to the second seed in the Western Conference, Luka is currently in the MVP talks with names like Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.
There really is no ceiling for this kid, and he continues to defy expectations night in and night out.
