Mad Dog Russo's Response to Christian Yelich and All His Haters is Equally Infuriating
By Michael Luciano
Chris "Mad Dog" Russo found himself in the crosshairs of Milwaukee Brewers superstar Christian Yelich, as Russo insinuated Wednesday morning that Bryce Harper "stinks" despite the fact he hit 35 home runs and 114 RBI last year, claiming that he isn't qualified to speak out on the MLB's labor negotiations.
When Yelich claimed that Russo doesn't have a right to call Harper out due to a lack of success on his end, the veteran radio host fired back at Yelich, inviting him to look at his Wikipedia page while reading off all the things he has accomplished in the radio business.
As infuriating as it is to hear someone like Russo tell someone like Yelich to go to Wikipedia and look up his list of accomplishments...he's kind of right.
Russo, as one half of "Mike and the Mad Dog" alongside Mike Francesa, helped make sports talk radio what it is today, and the fact he's still got his Sirius show and MLB Network show is a testament to his longevity.
Yelich since retracted his original salvo, claiming that he didn't word it properly and that he meant to say that Mad Dog hasn't had as much success lately as he thinks he has.
Mad Dog's mouth will get him on the wrong side of a lot of superstar players, and Yelich found out just how low Russo is willing to go.
