Even Madden Turned Down Texans-Cardinals Trade Involving DeAndre Hopkins

Bill O'Brien and the Houston Texans shockingly traded one of the top players in the game for pennies on Monday, sending DeAndre Hopkins and a fourth round draft pick to the Arizona Cardinals for RB David Johnson, a second round pick and a fourth round pick.

This trade was so completely and utterly lopsided that one fan decided to test it out on a virtual level. As it turns out, Bill O'Brien's latest blunder is so bad, you couldn't even pull it off on Madden 20!

The game's reasoning for not accepting the trade was that the Texans weren't interested in David Johnson, a running back for the Cardinals that hasn't had a good season since 2016.

Leave it to O'Brien to go out and get this deal done anyway, despite nothing about it making much sense.

O'Brien has been catching heat for the trade on the internet ever since the news broke, and rightfully so. Outcry from Texans fans calling for his job has reached an all-time high, and the fact that a video game had the sense to veto a deal that he signed off on is majorly concerning.
