Madison Bumgarner Deal Could Reportedly Come Before Winter Meetings With Multiple Teams Interested

Zack Wheeler, one of the bigger names on the pitching market, was scooped up by the Phillies on Wednesday, and it looks like another star pitcher could be signing a deal soon as well.
Per Mark Feinsand, Madison Bumgarner's market is reportedly just as active as Wheeler's was, and he could even end up signing a deal before the Winter Meetings.
The free agent lefty is one of the more coveted starting pitchers on the market, and with Cole Hamels signing for Atlanta, Bumgarner remains as one of the few elite southpaws available.
Jon Heyman reports that a variety of teams have expressed interest in the ex-Giant, including the contenders such as the Yankees, Braves and Twins.
With the Winter Meetings set to get underway on Dec. 8, Bumgarner's fate could be determined very soon, and there will be many teams vying to secure his signature in the coming days.
In 2019, the 30-year-old logged a 9-9 record with a 3.98 ERA, making 34 starts and throwing 207.2 innings while striking out 203 batters.
