Magic Johnson's Latest Tweet Should Truly Get Him Banned From Social Media
By Adam Godfrey
Magic Johnson has been in all sorts of headlines over the past few days, due in large part to his exclusive interview on First Take on Monday when he blasted his former bosses.
Magic also has an active social media presence, especially on Twitter, where he shares most of what is going on in his life.
On Tuesday, Johnson took to Twitter to keep his comedy act going, but this is too far!
He shared with his more than 4.7 million followers his plans for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors. Magic's odd message proved Twitter is for the younger generation, and should exclude the legendary Laker.
First of all, nothing against Magic for the skinny pop popcorn selection, not a terrible choice. Sea salt and pepper? Okay? Great, but keep this to yourself, man.
Magic has been one of the main stories in basketball ever since he dropped the bombshell update he was resigning from his post with the Lakers. He finally came out with his side of the story on First Take, and took obvious shots at Lakers GM Rob Pelinka and discussed his reasons for vacating his position in the organization.
With all the buzz around his name, and this recent tweet from him, Magic should just stay off of social media. It would be best for everyone.
