Malcolm Butler posts emotional goodbye to Titans fans

Goodbyes are never easy for anyone, especially in sports. Players get so used to donning a jersey and connecting with a fanbase. Unfortunately for veteran cornerback Malcolm Butler, his time in Nashville has come to a close.
On Wednesday, the Tennessee Titans decided to release the playmaker. As you might imagine, this isn't easy for Butler, who took to Twitter to share a special message for the organization and its supporters.

After spending the first four years of his career with the New England Patriots, Butler signed with the Titans in 2018 and immediately became a force for the AFC South squad. In his three years with Tennessee, Butler posted 201 total tackles and nine interceptions.
Now, the 5-11, 190-pounder is all set to hit free agency and find a new place to call home for next season. Regardless of where he ends up, Butler will always have fond memories of his time with the Titans.
