The San Diego Padres' $300 million man is off to a great start in Spring Training 2020. Machado homered in his first spring at bat, and the moment could not have been captured any better.

Baseball is a beautiful game, and this video, complete with Machado's gorgeous swing and the puff of smoke after the hard contact serves it justice.
After a season in which he hit 32 home runs, Machado shows no signs of slowing down in the slightest.

Machado's no-doubter to start the spring is a sign of things to come for the Padres. A solid, young core with Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Tommy Pham has the chance to surprise some people in 2020. Machado and his big bat will have to lead the way.
