VIDEO: Manny Machado Narrowly Avoids Pumping up Padres Supporters in NSFW Fashion at FanFest
During this year's FanFest in San Diego, Manny Machado was being interviewed when the crowd started cheering him on. As the applause got louder, Machado almost dropped an f bomb, catching himself. Shortly after, he corrected his misplaced phrasing, stating, "This is why I chose San Diego!" However, the almost NSFW moment was enough to hype up the Padres faithful.

While many MLB fans hate Machado, he has been nothing but spectacular to Padres fans, even going as far as to say signing with them is the best decision he ever made.

Of course, the $32 million-per-year contract surely helps matters.

At 70-92 last year, the Padres clearly have room to improve. However, with a solid core led by Machado and the emergence of Fernando Tatis Jr., expect the Padres to make a jump this season.
