VIDEO: Marcus Morris Makes Misogynistic Comment and Calls Jae Crowder 'Woman-Like' After Knicks-Grizzlies
By Mark Powell

There's no place for this in modern sports, period, and we're not overreacting. The Knicks-Grizzlies game ended in controversial fashion, as the two teams got in a skirmish after Elfrid Payton shoved Jae Crowder thanks to the latter taking a stat-padding shot in the final seconds. After the incident, Marcus Morris was interviewed in the locker room, and insulted an entire gender while trying to take a shot at Crowder.
"He's got a lot of female tendencies on the court, flopping and throwing his head back...he's soft, very woman-like"

Adam Silver's office ought to already be issuing a fine.
Press row in 2020 often features multiple female reports, and frankly even more aren't given the opportunity they deserve. Comments like these only dissuades women from trying to get into sports media in the first place.
Knicks night ranked from most lousy to merely lousy:

1. Marcus Morris misogyny
2. Deserving “Sell the Team” chant
3. Elfrid Payton frustration cheap shot
4. Faulty plumbing
5. Run-of-the-mill blowout home loss https://t.co/CB0hLxMcRZ
Look, uh, let's take a step back and be realistic for a minute. Did Morris mean to insult women and Crowder at the same time? No. Should he be well-trained in media-speak at this point in his career? Absolutely.
Off-script Morris isn't what the Knicks need right now, and for his sake, we hope an apology is forthcoming.
