Marcus Stroman Has Amazing Twitter Response to Rumor He Could Sign Extension With Blue Jays

No trade deadline candidate has been a more active participant in his own whirlwind than Marcus Stroman.

The Stro Show's gone on plenty of podcasts, called himself a "savage" and perked up every ear in the Bronx, and checked in on all the rumors from his Twitter perch constantly. And his latest act definitely helped clarify his current position more than any "rumor" tweet ever could.

Extension? Really? Well then somebody better call Stro, because he hasn't heard anything of the sort yet.

It seems to me that with every day that goes by, Stroman is more likely to be dealt, with his price not exactly matching Toronto's lofty expectations (even though he may be the best arm left).

But just because the pressure's on doesn't mean he's not having fun with semantics!

Stroman's now fourth in the league in ERA with a 2.96 mark. He can pitch with any hairstyle and for any team in the rough-and-tumble AL East.

But if the team has designs of him in Toronto beyond 2020, they might want to drop him a line.
