Marcus Stroman Leaves Mets-Indians in 4th Inning With Hamstring Tightness
By Michael Luciano

The New York Mets have an almost unrivaled ability to screw things up in a heartbeat when they finally start to get hot.
They've been scorching through all of August, but might be on the verge of losing one of their best pitchers for a short while. Marcus Stroman left his start against the Cleveland Indians after just four innings and 62 pitches. It's believed he's dealing with hamstring tightness.

Some thought it might've been a blister issue but it looks like that's not a concern.
SNY showed Stroman's hand being checked on so seems it's more likely a blister than it is a leg issue.

The National League hasn't been as kind to Stroman ever since he came over from the Toronto Blue Jays. The Long Island native has a 5.17 ERA in three starts for his quasi-hometown team, as compared to a 2.96 ERA in 21 starts in Toronto.

While he has struggled in the NL, losing Stroman would be killer for the rolling Mets and their sublime rotation.
