Marcus Stroman Likes Incredibly Petty Tweet During Yankees' Game 3 Loss
By Ryan Giglio

It's safe to say that many Mets fans, with good reason, have become Astros fans during this year's ALCS.
However, it may be surprising that one Mets player, Marcus Stroman, is seemingly also rooting for anyone but the Yankees throughout the playoffs.
During the Yankees' Game 3 loss on Tuesday, Stroman liked a petty tweet commenting on the Bombers' possible regrets over not acquiring pitching help at this year's Trade Deadline.
Dude is so petty Yankees didn’t get him. https://t.co/Q6HGcjRhsQ

As we know, Stroman, a Long Island, NY native, all but confirmed his desire to play in Pinstripes in July, but was shockingly dealt across town to the Mets.
Stroman is one of the most active players on Twitter, so it may be predictable that this is not the first time the pitcher showed bitterness about not being a Yankee.
In September, the 28-year-old tweeted a graphic displaying his stats comparing favorably to those of Yankees starters, in response to Brian Cashman declaring they didn't think he'd make a difference.
Yankees pitchers have a 1.96 ERA this postseason, the second-lowest mark by an AL club (min. 2G) in the last 45 postseasons (since 1975), behind the 1983 Orioles (1.10), per @YankeesPR. pic.twitter.com/XfIIjftH7L

While the bitter and petty Stroman is sitting home on Twitter, New York's pitching staff has actually been pretty outstanding in October. The group had a 1.96 ERA heading into Tuesday's Game 3. That is better than any other 2019 playoff team, including the daunting Astros and Nationals staffs.
Can Stroman hit?
