Mariners keep playoffs dreams alive with A's sweep

Here come the Mariners! While Seattle hasn't made the postseason since 2001, the players and city as a whole have dreams of changing things this fall. Well, Seattle tripped to Oakland for a four-game series and things went perfectly.

Thanks to a 6-5 win on Thursday, the M's recorded a four-game sweep and they're now just two games back of the Yankees for the second AL Wild Card spot.

The Mariners are so close to a playoff berth that fans can taste it. Should the M's host a playoff game, you already know T-Mobile Park will be rocking. Let's see if the team can stay hot.
