Mariners pull off massive trade for Luis Castillo

The pressure is on for the Seattle Mariners to really make some noise this season when it comes to getting to the playoffs. GM Jerry Dipoto has made quite the statement, as he went out and traded for Luis Castillo on Friday.

Make no mistake about it, this was a statement move by Dipoto. He's ready to end the long, awful streak of Seattle missing out on the postseason.

Castillo was the best starting pitcher out there. The Yankees and many other teams wanted him. Now, Castillo is Seattle-bound. Only time will tell if the righty helps the Mariners get back to the postseason.
