Marlins Man Reveals He's Missing World Series Game 1 and Likely More With Health Issue
By Adam Weinrib
You don't know what you got 'til it's gone.
They paved the front row seat and put up a parking lot on Tuesday night. When the curtain went up on Game 1 of the World Series in Houston, Marlins Man wasn't a part of the festivities, which was notable since the game wasn't in Cleveland, the only place he's sworn off.
So, what happened? Whither Larry? Turns out, he flew too soon after a surgery and blew his own shot at attending the event.
Against all odds...I am very disoriented.
Depending on the outcome of the first two games in H-Town, we might start hearing Washington fans clamoring for Marlins Man to get behind the wheel and drive himself to D.C. for a mojo injection.
Of course, things went pretty well for Mr. Man (and the fanbase) the last time he was in town.
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that Marlins Man was unable to attend this one? His orange jersey would've just blended into the crowd anyway, and now he gets more time to watch Tyler Herro's emergence. Win-win.
