VIDEO: Quarantined Marlins Minor Leaguer is Stuck in Texas Lifting a Hog Above His Head

A baseball player might be inclined to do some strange things without his bat and uniform during an extended off period. This Miami Marlins minor leaguer, Nic Ready, decided to post a video of his unique quarantine workout.
"No gym? Don't matter. No food? Don't matter. Delayed season? Don't matter. Mama still gotta eat," says Ready. You've got to find a way to entertain yourself in these uncertain times, and this minor leaguer from Texas seems like he's in his element.
Ready is waiting for his chance in the majors after his first minor league season in 2019. The third baseman was picked by the Marlins in the 23rd round, with the 681st selection of the 2019 draft.
As a member of the Batavia Muckdogs last season, he tied an NYPL record with 30 doubles in only 67 games. Overall, he hit .263/.311/.508 with 10 homers and 47 RBI.
He is also the son of Randy Ready, a 13-year veteran of the MLB who played for five different teams from 1983-95.
