Marlins' Twitter Has Complete Meltdown Amid Barrage of White Sox Home Runs
By Karl Rasmussen
The Miami Marlins had a rough go of things against the White Sox, trailing 9-1 at the conclusion of the sixth inning. Chicago's offense was blazing hot and five home runs in the contest.
Well, the Marlins' Twitter account struggled to find a positive outlook for the deficit, and instead opted to let everyone know that they were struggling to cope.
Yeah, if you're a Marlins fan, that notification stream is truly a depressing sight. Four home run notifications within an hour? That's not something I'd be particularly keen to be notified of.
Let's hope that whoever's behind these tweets gets the support they need, but we can guarantee it won't becoming from the Marlins lineup, as this game is all but lost.
