Garrett Cooper has been on fire for Miami over the last week, hitting .414 with 12 hits and 5 RBIs. Despite being scratched out of yesterday's lineup, Cooper can provide the spark this evening.

On the mound for the Marlins making his big league debut is Zac Gallen. The right hander is being called up from Triple-A to make the start. While in the minors this season, Gallen was an excellent 9-1 with a tidy ERA of 1.77.

Toeing the rubber for the Cardinals fresh off the IL will be veteran Adam Wainwright. The Redbirds starter is 5-6 with a 4.46 ERA for the season. The righty has pitched tremendous at home sporting a 4-1 record at Busch Stadium this year.
