The Marlins enter this game coming off a 3-1 loss against the Nationals in the second game of the series. Pitcher Elieser Hernandez (1-2) will get the start and build on his last outing, where he allowed just two runs with seven strikeouts in five and two-thirds innings of work. Hernandez has been effective as a starter this year, posting a 3.63 ERA in four starts, and allowing opposing hitters to hit just .205 against him.
Marlins Lineup
Miguel Rojas will bat leadoff again in this one, with Cesar Puello and Garrett Cooper hitting behind him in what is a fairly weak offense.

With Brian Anderson out again with an elbow injury, the Marlins may struggle to put up run support for Hernandez in this one.
Nationals Lineup
On the side for the Nationals, they enter this game on a three-game win streak after taking games from both the Marlins and the Detroit Tigers.

Juan Soto will be one to watch for in this one, as he's been on a tear in his last 30 games, posting a .327/.441/.625 slash line with seven dingers and 19 runs batted in.
Juan Soto has reached base safely in 17 straight games.

Juan Soto has 3 such streaks of 16+ games in 2019.
Juan Soto is the only @MLB player to do that.

The Nats have been one of the best teams in baseball in the past 30 games, posting a record of 21-9. Pitcher Aníbal Sánchez (4-6) will get the start Thursday night, as he looks to continue posting solid numbers. In his last start against the Marlins, Sánchez allowed three runs with four walks and six strikeouts through 5 1/3 innings pitched.
