Marshawn Lynch Signs With Seahawks Ahead of NFC West Showdown Against 49ers

UPDATE:
Marshawn Lynch is reportedly a Seattle Seahawk.
NFL fans were treated to delightful news on Monday morning that the Seattle Seahawks flew in former running back Marshawn Lynch to discuss a reunion. Well, the seemingly impossible just became possible.
After undergoing a physical earlier in the day, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that Lynch's physical "went well," bringing him one step closer to re-signing with the Seahawks.
Seattle is just days away from a pivotal matchup with the rival San Francisco 49ers. However, the team lost running backs Chris Carson and CJ Prosise to season-ending injuries, leaving rookie Travis Homer as the lone individual on the running back depth chart.
The team responded by signing Robert Turbin, who played with Seattle from 2012-14. Now, "Beast Mode" could potentially join him.
Lynch has been out of the league since the conclusion of the 2018 season, where he entered retirement for the second time after a two-year tenure with the Oakland Raiders.
In six seasons with the Seahawks (2010-15), Lynch rushed for 6,347 yards and 57 touchdowns on 1,457 carries. Additionally, Lynch recorded 158 receptions for 1,309 yards and eight touchdowns.
The countdown begins until a much-desired "Beast Quake" hits Seattle, just in time for their winner-take-all regular season finale.
