VIDEO: Marvin Bagley III Gets Roasted After 'Team Bagley' Twitter Shows Him Bulking up With Very Light Weight
By Adam Weinrib
Worried about Marvin Bagley III bulking up and adding muscle to his frame, Kings fans?! Well, worry no more! Bagley is on the shelf, but he's WORKING. Per the Team Bagley Twitter account that appears to be family-run, the second-year NBA player is lifting ABOUT 40 POUNDS. And he's doing it A FEW TIMES!
Lit!! Let's get this work!
Bagley III is a tough case -- he's clearly a solid NBA player, with a low ceiling but a high floor, averaging 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in his second year in the league before succumbing to injury, repeatedly aggravating his foot.
But he will always be "the man selected ahead of Luka Doncic and Trae Young" and he'll have to live with that. If he copes with that badge by lifting an introductory set of weights, then so be it.
The internet wasn't terribly kind after this one dropped.
Yeah, I mean...who's this for? Proof of life?
Come on, indeed.
Let's lay off the kid for a while, if we can. I just remembered he was drafted ahead of Jaren Jackson Jr., too, so I need to lie down.
