Maryland Takes Another L as Terps Commit Reopens His Recruitment During Ohio State Demolition
By Parker White

It was already a tough day for the Maryland Terrapins football team, as they were down 42-0 at halftime to the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
However, it got a lot worse, as 3-star offensive lineman Jordan White decided to reopen his recruitment halfway through Saturday's game.
With all do respect to whom it may concern, my family and I believe that it is in my best interest to Open Up My Recruitment Process and Decommit from The University of Maryland to make sure that I am making the best decision for myself and my future.

No further questions please
White was one of Maryland's top 2020 recruits. He's a local kid who has a great relationship with Terrapins assistant coach Elijah Brooks, but he obviously didn't like what he saw on the field Saturday against one of the top college programs.
Of course, White seemed to embrace Maryland's football program and wanted to be a leader. Check out what he said when he decided to commit, initially.
“Truly, I wanted to start this class off with a bang,” White said. “I was thinking to myself, You know, why not be first in 2020? Why not be the leader? I knew I was probably going to Maryland anyway, so I just decided to do it.”

Well, that isn't happening now and it continues the trend of Maryland not being able to bring aboard local kids to their program.
