VIDEO: Masahiro Tanaka Might've Thrown the Nastiest Two-Seamer to Strike Out Michael Chavis
By Michael Luciano

New York Yankees starter Masahiro Tanaka has had a problem keeping his two-seam fastball in the yard over the last few years, but he seems to have unveiled a new and improved version in Spring Training. Tanaka's filthy two-seamer swept all the way across the zone, ringing up Red Sox stud Michael Chavis for a called strike three on Tuesday.

Tanaka is going to need to pitch like an All-Star this season to make up for the losses of James Paxton and Luis Severino, but it should be pretty easy to do that if he's got his two-seamer working like that in March.
