Masahiro Tanaka’s Latest Cryptic Instagram Took Way Too Long to Figure Out and Seemed NSFW
By Scott Rogust

The New York Yankees took Game 2 of the ALDS over the Minnesota Twins by the score of 8-2. While many pointed to the explosive bats in the aftermath, New York's win can also be attributed to the performance of Masahiro Tanaka, who stuck out seven batters while surrendering just one run in five innings of work.
On Sunday, a day after his postseason win, Tanaka sent out a rather cryptic Instagram post in Japanese. All we got in English was, "I guess I was too nervous." Provided in the post were three photos of Tanaka, each one zooming in further on his crotch. What?!
I’m going to need an explanation for this Tanaka insta pic.twitter.com/VhSTxNVBSM

This seemed entirely too close to a NSFW situation. Yet thankfully, after much scrutiny, someone finally figured out what Tanaka was intending.
Apparently, he was referencing...a missed belt loop.
He missed a belt loop apparently. Man that was a WILD ride

Upon further review (we are investigative journalists, mind you), yes, Tanaka did miss a belt loop during his Game 2 start.
The way the New York Yankees are playing, Masahiro Tanaka will have until the ALCS to make sure his belt goes through every loop of his pants. That's only if the Yankees can successfully sweep the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
