Matt LaFleur Joins Vince Lombardi as Only Packers Coaches to Start Careers 2-0

Talk about being in some pretty outstanding company. Though there may have been some negative moments on Sunday, including drama with Aaron Rodgers, Matt LaFleur saw his coaching record with Green Bay improve to 2-0.
Yup, there's no denying it's been a quality start for the first-year head coach, as the Packers have opened the season with victories over the Bears and Vikings. Well, this tidbit will only make things that much sweeter:
It hadn't happened since the great Vince Lombardi did it decades ago.

While they won't be renaming the Vince Lombardi Trophy anytime soon, this is obviously welcoming news for cheeseheads everywhere.
In the first half of Sunday's game, the Packers showcased exactly why they brought the young coach in. The offense was moving with precision and Rodgers looked like his old self, slinging the ball around with ease.
Though the second half was a major downer, the team still came away with a hard-earned victory. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.

This weekend, the Packers will take on the Broncos. Let's see if LaFleur and company can make it 3-0 to start 2019. Should he do that, you know Lombardi will be smiling down on him.
